Thought we would update you guys on how the movie is going. Here is a brief word from Jules regarding the progress for the upcoming movie Chapter V: The Blood Genesis. A word from the director 'Production is chugging along at a varying pace at the moment. George recently discovered some new compositing tools which are making the job a little easier. All hail Magic Bullet for its blue screen and film look tools. These babies are an absolute must if your working with visual effects. There were a few shots that were not filmed in the best lighting conditions which were proving to be less than easy to work with. I haven't got time to major rotoscoping with problematic mattes so coming across this tool was a life saver. Its very easy and extremely powerful. I've been able to pull hair from mattes in the past but not like this. I'm sure if you wanted to, you could blue screen smoke with this baby. We haven't been able to film over the past few months due to the winter weather so our attention is turned to the CG side of things which can be done at anytime of year. Live action filming is usually done between March and September when the light is right and there's not too much rain. We are going to start putting together a trailer of some description which will be out over the coming weeks. Anyway patience is a virtue and all that stuff. Until then. Stay tuned.' J
